Previously: Nicklaus discovered that Virginia cheated on him, and they fought and fought. A new pet, a horse called Inferno, was adopted for Virginia, much to her not-so-happy surprise. The kids (Croazia and Dalmazia) grew up, and little Eufrate was born.

Even though Virginia is less than happy of her “disagreement” with Nicklaus, she hasn’t understood anything, and she wants to start working on her sixth child.

Why not with the social worker Benjamin Novak, she wonders. He is the one who took away Roux; why not turn a sorrowful fact into a joyous one?

Obviously, Nicklaus is less than happy of this, and he doesn’t appreciate the fact that Virginia doesn’t even try to hide anymore.

And he is the less pleased when they use their bedroom…

Virginia soon has the proof that she’s pregnant.

Meanwhile, here’s where Inferno spends most of his time: Virginia doesn’t like him very much; Roux was much better, dogs are much better.

Croazia spends time with her romantic interest, some guy she knows from school.

And Dal with her imaginary friend Adria…

And she’s also the only one that cares to go the Croazia’s school celebration.

And, later, Croazia and Eufrate grow up almost alone.

Here’s the little man. It’s clear that he, too, has the colors of his mother, but the eyes’ shape of his father.

To compensate the absence from Croazia’s recital, the whole family goes to her graduation in their best clothes.

She’s voted the most probable to be a great athlete, and Virginia thinks it’s probably true – she will be an extremely famous and rich athlete.

Back at home, Croazia says goodbye to her sister Dalmazia, the only one who ever cared about her, and then leaves to start her new family.

At a loss about what to do without her big sister, Dalmazia decides to go to the cemetery, a place that Croazia liked. She tries to fish – they say it helps to think – and suddenly she understands that she wants to be exactly like her sister, and she wishes to live the Lifestyle of Rich and Famous.

Virginia tells Eufrate everything about Dalmatia’s decision – taken during a fishing trip.

But it is Nicklaus who has the biggest news. Secretly, he’s been meeting outside work with his boss, Justine Lynn. They have a lot in common: they are romantic, they love their families and cookery… He is still hopelessly in love with Virginia, as she is with her husband, but he likes to spend time with someone who doesn’t betray him, and to chat for long hours about their respective spouses and children.

Justine is a very good friend, and Nicklaus starts thinking that she could help him with a plan he has for his family.

Justine accepts, and she moves to their home, temporarily leaving her home, her husband and her son.

Nicklaus only tells his wife – on the phone – that a friend needs a home for a while, and that he couldn’t refuse to offer her their house. Virginia isn’t very pleased at the news, but if there is something she can do to please her husband, she isn’t going to hesitate. But she decides also that it’s time for Inferno to leave the house. She doesn’t like him, and with a new baby on the way and a guest, too… she does not want a horse, even if it’s a gift from Nicklaus.

Justine arrives to settle in the new home just in time to see Virginia in labour.

And to witness the birth of baby Florence!

AN: Virginia sometimes really annoys me… I mean, the social worker, seriously? But there was so much chemistry between them , much more than she and Nicklaus ever had (and, mind, they had an easy relationship!).

Keep an eye out for Nicklaus’s coming revenge – Justine is going to be an important part of it!
