C.2: I think I wanna marry you

Last time, Barcelona grew to a toddler, and Amerigo to a child, and he discovered the Young Again potion, that he gifted to his mother. Meanwhile, Virginia, who has been feeling lonely and is worried about lack of money, decided to make Nicklaus her boyfriend, even if she was still confused about her feelings.

One morning, after a night of “sleep” next to Nicklaus, Virginia proposes to him.

It has been a decision that the woman struggled hard to reach, because she really doesn’t understand the whole marriage thing. Why should she marry, and reduce the genetic pool from which she chooses for her babies?

But she does understand that she needs money, and a help to care for the next babies. And what can be better than a husband, to provide her money? She could always cheat on him. She’s smart enough to avoid getting caught. And there’s a big plus: the fluttering in her stomach – that strange pleasant sensation – will never go away, if he’s forced to live and stay with her.

Virginia is a no nonsense woman, and proceeds fast with the marriage traditions. Unfortunately, her bachelorette party doesn’t go very well: her stove catches fire, and she doesn’t have a lot of female friends that are really willing to congratulate her sincerely, like Patricia Bedlington – Amerigo’s father’s wife.

But Virginia doesn’t really care for them, or the stove, or the horrible party she’s hosting:

she’s far more interested in getting to know the handsome guy who dances at her party, Albert Royale.

A few days after, at sunset, Virginia and Nicklaus meet at her home…

And, simple like that, after a short vow with few carefully chosen words by Virginia, and a long and passionate vow regarding mixing ingredients to get a perfect cake by Nicklaus, they get married!

But, then, it’s not that simple anymore:

Amerigo, who he wants some attention himself, decides that the reception is the perfect moment to become a teenager.

Then a dog dies, and the Grim Reaper pay the Mondiales a visit…

And play with Amerigo for a while.

Well, quite the marriage, Mondiale family!

But, as time goes by, marriage parties come to an end, and life returns to normal: Virginia thinks its time for another child, and spends time with the bachelorette party dancer,

Amerigo divides his time amongst school, gym, and friends,

and Nicklaus looks after her little daughter Barcelona and studies kitchen books, because he has just got a new job at the city restaurant.

AN: I did NOT plan this, not so early. I wanted to wait as long as possible, but Virginia just kept wishing for it, she was so annoying that finally I gave in! (Also because I needed the money). But they will have a hard life, later on, I swear!
